Project & Program Managers

In order to tackle with the development of one of our main competence centre, we are permanently seeking Junior and Senior Project/Program Managers for several customers in the Utilities, Financial, Industry and Telecommunications markets.

Job description

The project manager is

Accountable for the overall success of the project as well as the delivery of the result;
Enforces the use of standards;
He/she ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget and meet user requirements;
Ensures that the project is correctly staffed and manages those resources on the project to meet critical milestones and objectives;
Ensures that all project members can commit to the proposed milestones;
He/she works closely with the customer and involved stakeholders to understand the needs of the business;
He/she informs Steering Committee on project progress.

Required technical skills

Use to work following standards and methodologies (PMI, Prince2, ITIL, etc.);
Have a broad view of IT in applications and operations environments;
Have a technical specificity such as Infrastructure, Testing, Mainframe, JAVA, ERP, etc.

Required soft skills

Must have a Degree in a Computer Science or closely related field, or equivalent by experience;
Openness and honesty is your Modus Vivendi;
Fluent in English and Dutch or/and French;
Strong problem solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision;
Ability to work well alone or/and within a (existing) team environment;
Very good communication skills, able to understand the client/business needs and interact with the Business as well as IT people;
Organisational skills, stress resistant.
